About the School Librarian
This is my eighth year at River Bluff High School helping students and teachers in the Learning Commons. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia and an MLIS degree from the University of South Carolina. I am a proud Gamecock and Virginia Tech Hokies fan! After teaching 4th grade for 8 years, I decided to spend my days in the school library serving all students. And that's where I've been for the last 16 years...first at the library at River Springs Elementary and for the last eight years at River Bluff! I love to travel, play tennis, watch sports and go to the beach whenever I can.
I am so happy to be working with you and helping to create a school community of self-motivated learners. I hope to inspire you to learn new things, work together, use new technology, understand how information works and find something amazing to read.
Please let me know how I can help you. That's what I'm here for. You can contact me at [email protected].
Go Gators!
